(Poem) The Thirteenth Moon by Sara Wright

Hare cursed

she rises

out of the sea

half shrouded

in dark night

white teeth

gag

on the

frog

in his throat

unable

to swallow

elemental

changes

chained to

the past

What tidal

forces

distorted

by will

eclipsed

her light?

Seduced

by his god –

dirty hands

glare

covered in

blue.
