(Art) Vision Comes in an unexpected Way by Lilian Broca

From the Lilith series. Graphite on spackled wood panel, 36in x 30in. Lilith cries out to God by his ineffable name. Immediately she sprouts wings and flies away – this is portrayed in a subsequent  art work. It is clear that she had hidden knowledge, as the name of God was never uttered: a powerful name helped her overcome the obstacles placed to keep the living in the Garden of Eden.
