Nixon is a writer, researcher, former educator, and independent scholar whose creative and scholarly work explores adoption, maternal loss, Goddess spirituality, sacred memory, and the lived textures of belonging. Her writing attends to family secrecy, ritual, embodiment, institutional erasure, and spiritual transformation. Brigid was her confirmation saint, and her current work weaves Catholic memory, Goddess spirituality, adoptee grief, and feminist witness.
