Freeda Cathcart is a mother living in Southwest Virginia with her husband. She raised four children and homeschooled them until they went to college. She is a founding shareholder of the Artesia Corporation and Left Bank Land Corporation, a land trust and development in Floyd County, Virginia. She enjoys writing and musing about transforming the patriarchy by rewriting myths. She creates stories to plant seeds in young minds to respect the elderly and wise people in our culture. She is a Director on the Blue Ridge District Soil and Water Conservation Board. She loves hiking, kayaking and swimming.
