(Poem) War in the Ukraine by Sara Wright

White Winds

Chaotic stirrings.

Frigid waters churning

a season of ice.

Is there no end

to the differences

that separate us –

War? Military violence –

murder and rape

displacing

us all from land

we belong to –

exiled from Earth,

self, and those

we love.
