(Poem) Reborn Again by Amina Rodriguez

I am reborn from facing the sun

back into myself, into solace

the innermost innocence once wounded, thrice reminded

the mind/devil/ego/human nature was never to blame

the shadows once faced may never return

if I can come out the other side intact

and blameless.

The richness of the void swallowed me whole   birthing me out renewed.

Mother Earth brings forth her truth:

To messengers weary of being the message, now know,

self-acceptance grows unity organically as in all of nature

and in blameless unison we know freedom again.
